FALL AUDITIONS

The Secret Garden

For all ages, held at The Old Michie Theatre

Auditions for our Fall/winter show, The Secret Garden: The Musical will be held the week of September 19th through the 26th. Young performers of all ages and experience are encouraged to audition for a variety of vibrant characters in this classic, heartwarming coming-of-age tale. Students will need to prepare a monologue and get ready to sing us a song! Contact the theatre for more information.

Fall Classes

Pre-Theatre for ages 4-7

Mondays Sept 19th through Oct 31st4:45-6:00.Tuition: $125

Bring stories to life as we explore fairytales, folktales, and classic children's books! Students will learn the essentials of theatre movement, voice, and cooperation while building confidence as they take part in our pre-theatre group in a safe, kid-friendly environment. Classes culminate in a teacher-facilitated pre-performance including costumes, props, and puppets.

Intro to Theatre,for ages 8-12

Wednesdays Sept 14th through Oct 26th 4:45-6:00.Tuition: $125

Is there a budding dramatist in your life? A storyteller? Somebody curious about what it takes to be in the movies or on a stage? Come and "play" with us! Students will learn the essentials of theatre through classes on movement, voice, character building, memorization, theatre games, and much more! Class will culminate in a showcase of student talent as they perform scenes and monologues. Advanced 7 year-olds welcome with instructor permission.

Puppet Shows

Puppet Shows at the Old Michie Theatre are BACK for Fall 2011! Performed on Saturdays at 11am, 2pm, and 4pm. A wonderful treat for younger audiences, our puppet shows are lively interpretations of classic stories. For more information, click here!
